Περιγραφή προϊόντων

Sapphire EFG Tube 2–400mm OD  High Temperature Optical and Industrial Applications

Product Overview

ZMSH Sapphire EFG Tubes are precision-engineered cylindrical components grown using the Edge-Defined Film-Fed Growth (EFG) method. Made from high-purity single crystal Al₂O₃, these tubes exhibit outstanding hardness, thermal conductivity, and optical transparency.

Our sapphire tubes are widely used in semiconductor, aerospace, optical, and chemical industries, especially in high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive environments where standard materials such as quartz or alumina may fail.

The EFG growth method allows continuous production of custom sapphire geometries—including tubes, rods, and sleeves—with excellent dimensional accuracy, making them ideal for thermocouple protection, laser systems, and optical inspection devices.

Key Features

  • High Temperature Resistance: Stable operation up to 1900°C without deformation or degradation.

  • Exceptional Hardness: Mohs 9, second only to diamond, providing excellent wear resistance.

  • Optical Transparency: High transmittance from 190 nm to 5000 nm (UV–IR range).

  • Corrosion Resistance: Chemically inert and 100% gas-tight, preventing leakage or contamination.

  • Customization Available: Sizes, wall thickness, and precision tolerances can be tailored to your specific application.

Why Choose Sapphire?

Sapphire combines exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, and optical clarity across a wide wavelength range. Unlike ceramics or quartz, sapphire maintains its shape and transparency up to 2000°C, resists chemical attack, and provides superior electrical insulation.

FAQ

1. What is EFG Sapphire?
EFG (Edge-Defined Film-Fed Growth) Sapphire is a type of synthetic sapphire crystal grown through a die-shaped mold, allowing precise control over dimensions such as rods, tubes, and plates.

2. What are the advantages of EFG-grown sapphire tubes?
They offer excellent thermal stability, high transparency, superior surface quality, and the ability to produce long or large-diameter tubes with minimal defects.

3. Can ZMSH produce custom-sized sapphire tubes?
Yes. We can manufacture tubes with custom outer/inner diameters, wall thickness, and lengths according to your design requirements.

4. What industries commonly use sapphire tubes?
Sapphire tubes are widely used in semiconductors, aerospace, optics, chemical reactors, and high-temperature furnaces.
